ASAS New Jersey Mid-April Update

ASAS NJ Trail Blaze Walk & Run


After-School All-Stars New Jersey is back to in-person fundraising activities with the return of our 5K Walk & Run! The ASAS New Jersey TrailBlaze event will occur on Saturday, June 10th, 2023, held at the beautiful South Mountain Reservation in West Orange, New Jersey. This year’s theme is “Walking the Path to Enrich the Rising Generation of Leaders”.


Day of Logistics

Saturday, June 10th, 2023

Registration Start Time: 10:00am | Walk & Run Start: 10:30am

General Registration: $25 (Registration Includes a T-Shirt and light refreshments)


We will be offering the opportunity for your organization or company to sponsor this event! Each level provides a tremendous investment in our scholars; and will bring great exposure for your organization.

We Are Hiring

Spring & Summer Program Leader: Do you know someone who would be a great a Program Leader? We are seeking experienced, highly-skilled, energetic, and committed leaders to join our youth (grades K-8) enrichment team.




Jr Program Leader (Summer Intern): Do you know a Newark Resident between the ages of 14-24 who would be a good intern with ASAS NJ? Share the following two links with them to apply for our Jr. Program Leader role.




All-Star Ambassador Program

The ASAS NJ All-Star Ambassador Program is back and better than ever!


The ASAS NJ All-Star Ambassador Program is open to scholars in grades 6-8 within our program who exemplify the pillars of SERVICE, LEADERSHIP, ADVOCACY, CHARACTER, & ACHIEVEMENT. These young leaders serve as the voice of their peers and community through facilitation, social engagement, and service learning Ambassadors will work closely with ASAS NJ staff and mentors to develop their leadership potential and become role models for their peers. They also have the chance to connect with other like-minded young leaders and build lasting friendships.


We are excited to welcome back the ASAS NJ All-Star Ambassador Program and look forward to seeing the incredible impact these young leaders will make in their communities.

Parent Ambassador Committee (The PAC):

Our Parent Ambassador Committee is returning! As parents, guardians, and trusted adults connected to ASAS NJ, you play a vital role in the continuous improvement, family & community engagement, and feedback sharing of our organization.


The PAC, or Parent Advisory Council, is a group of dedicated individuals who are passionate about creating a positive impact on the lives of our students. As members of The PAC, you have the opportunity to actively participate in our chapter and contribute to the growth and success of ASAS NJ.

We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to working closely with you as part of The PAC. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of our students and their families.
